Dear Strand Fan,

(* after the parade)

Shelbyville will be filled with Holiday Cheer tonight.    Santa makes his appearance at our Holiday Parade.    The parade route is North Harrison Street turning west on Washington Street.    There will be lots of floats, bands, groups, and even the Calliope!    After the parade walk down to the Strand for our first showing of the holiday classic POLAR EXPRESS (2004).   This is a wonderful holiday movie.

The Strand is decorated and filled with places to make memories.   The balcony will be open, the train set will be in the Cabaret area, and live music will welcome you.    Thank you to D.A.R.E. for presenting this year’s showing of POLAR EXPRESS.

If you can’t make it tonight, we have POLAR EXPRESS showings at 2pm and 7pm on Saturday December 3.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Next week we welcome A CARPENTER’S CHRISTMAS to the stage.  This live musical variety show will play the holiday favorites you know and love.   Karen and Richard Carpenter had a TV holiday special for many years.  This recreates that magic and will put you in the holiday spirit.   Plenty of tickets are available at the door, online, or at Shelbyville Paint.   SUNDAY December 11, 2022 @ 7pm.   Come help us celebrate the season.    We hope you can make it.

The Strand is cozy.  Our volunteers love the feeling of warmth and love inside the theater.   We hope you can join us to experience one of the events in 2022.   We have a busy 2023 and look forward to announcing our upcoming shows.

Thank you for your support.   See you at the Strand!
