Dear Strand Fan,

CARL BENTLEY BLUEGRASS in concert on Saturday March 25, 2023.  This is a very talented bluegrass band from right here in Central Indiana.   Their music is wonderful, come check it out!  Tickets are available online, locally at Shelbyville Paint, and at the door.   Concert starts at 7:30pm.

Next week we have two films.  Independent filmmaker Bob East presents his film PITFIRE OF HELL.  This is in the horror genre.  The screening will be Thursday March 16 at 7:30pm. 

Friday March 17 will be the continuation of our FRIGHT NIGHT FRIGHTS FILM SERIES.   This year we are featuring the Universal Studios Monster Films.   We are showing FRANKENSTEIN (1931) this month.   The movie starts at 7:30pm.   Tickets for the films are available online or at the door. 

This week Joe Gaudin, Steve Frazee, and David Finkel traveled to Louisville Kentucky to acquire the new Digital Cinema Projection System for the Strand.   The unit was exactly as we had thought, and will be perfect for the Strand.  Thank you to all how voluntarily donated and all the other support we received.   It will take us several weeks to install, but the first step is accomplished!  (see pictures below)

Last week we had a great crowd for SOUNDS OF SUMMER.   The audience was dancing in the aisles!    We have the group booked for March 2024, so if you missed last week can catch them next year.
