The board of directors at the Strand Theatre made the decision to suspend all events on March 12, 2020 and reevaluate on April 1, 2020. Little did the board know, they would make the decision to close the Strand Theatre effective immediately on March 15, 2020. There was much hope to reopen in 2020, but the Strand remained dark.
