Dear Strand Fan,

Well that was different..

We had to cancel and reschedule last Saturday’s comedy show with TODD McCOMAS.  Todd came down with Covid.   Good news: he is finally feeling better.   We have rescheduled the show for SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2022.  Tickets purchased for Todd McComas will automatically be valid for the show November 5th.  However, if you require a refund, tickets purchased in person can be refunded at Shelbyville Paint.  If you need to make other arrangements, please contact us at tickets@strandpac.org.   Tickets are available online and at Shelbyville Paint for the new show date.

If you purchased your tickets online and require a refund, please let us know at tickets@strandpac.org, and we will credit your card used to make the purchase.  Please note it takes up to a week for our credit card processor.   This is the first time we have had to refund tickets, so it is a bit new to us!

On to this weekend…

Friday Night Frights will feature COUNT DRACULA AND HIS VAMPIRE BRIDE (1973) on Friday October 7, 2022.  Tickets are available at the door and the movie starts at 7:30pm.

FLEETWOOD GOLD featuring the SHS MARCHING BAND will perform on Saturday night October 8, 2022.  Plenty of tickets are available and can be purchased online, at the door, or at Shelbyville Paint.  This will be an incredible concert!

Next week…

The fun continues with THE LINDA RONSTADT EXPERIENCE live on stage Saturday October 15, 2022.   This will be another great concert featuring outstanding talent.    Plenty of tickets are still available and can be purchased online, at the door, or at Shelbyville Paint.  We are looking forward to this event!

The Strand was featured on the Serve Shelby site this week. Serve Shelby was created to honor stellar servants, recognize organizations, and provide a central location for local volunteer needs to be listed online via serveshelby.com and highlighted on social media (@serveshelby).  We appreciate their help and look forward to attracting new volunteers!

Our Google stats are slowly inching up.   The effects of the pandemic are still with us, but we are pleased with the growth.   This past month we were searched 1015 times.  We had 1907 views of our profile, with 90 people using Google Maps for directions to the Strand.   The Google searches yielded 504 website visits.   While not our pre-pandemic numbers, they are getting better!

Last week our volunteers erected the scaffolding on stage to replace the condensate lines from our north auditorium furnaces.   It took longer to put up the scaffolding than to make the repair!  We look forward to those two units coming back online.

The next three weeks feature over-the-top performances.  FLEETWOOD GOLD, THE LINDA RONSTADT EXPERIENCE, and TERRY LEE.   Wow!   It will be fun.

Thank you for the support. See you at the Strand!
